Psychotherapy
I have a special interest in trauma healing, sensorimotor psychotherapy, and mind-body integration. Working with me in therapy will likely involve a look at how your early experiences impact you as an adult.

I also have expertise in working with pregnant and postpartum women related to specific mental health concerns that are common during these important transitions. In particular, mood, relational conflict, and our own experiences of being parented often add to the stress of becoming a parent. Psychotherapy can be a useful tool during this time of life.

My style is often described as relaxed and kind while still challenging you to take on the changes and areas of growth that you hope for. I use experiential approaches to help people learn new ways of being in their lives and relationships.

Collaborative Psychological Assessment
Collaborative or therapeutic assessment is an innovative approach to psychological testing which relies on collaboration between the assessor, client, and therapist (if applicable). The goal of a collaborative/therapeutic assessment is to help clients better understand themselves and move forward in healing and successful living. The assessment is used as a brief therapeutic intervention. Research shows benefits include: improved self-esteem, increased hopefulness about problems, decreased symptoms, and better compliance with ongoing treatment. The process is tailored to your needs and unique for everyone, so please contact me to see if this could be the right next step for you. To find out more, please visit www.therapeuticassessment.net

Adult ADHD Evaluations

Considering exploration of a possible ADHD diagnosis can be confusing. There is a lot of information and misinformation available, and it can be stressful to navigate without a formal, individualized evaluation process. I have years of experience assessing for ADHD and can provide you with more clarity regarding this diagnosis.

Psychedelic Harm-Reduction and Integration

Substances such as MDMA and Psilocybin are currently under investigation but not approved by the FDA for use in the treatment of mental health conditions. However, if you have used these substances and have had experiences that require further support, exploration, and understanding this can be part of your therapeutic process with me. I have training in harm reduction strategies for those that are currently or plan to use psychedelics and have training to support your integration of these experiences.
